Ford Trucks Red,
White & Blue
Balloon Festival
January 17, 18, 2009
Las Vegas Motor
Speedway
Las Vegas, NV
An event for the entire family is returning to Las
Vegas on January 17 & 18, 2009 at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway. The Ford Trucks Red, White & Blue
Balloon Festival will feature twenty plus special
shape balloons and thirty race balloons. Making it the
second largest Special Shape Balloon Festival in the
country.

Of the twenty five special shape balloons, attendees
will see the Energizer Bunny Lady Bug, the Meadow
Gold flying cow “Airabelle”, two Bees, a Pirate, a
Chipmunk, United Van Lines Moving Van, a Dragon,
Woodrow the Tree and many more. The average
height of these balloons is eight stories tall. The
Energizer Bunny balloon is taller than the Statue of
Liberty and its head is bigger than the heads on
Mount Rushmore.

This star-studded weekend will feature celebrities on
the launch field and above. Expected attendance is
50,000 plus. Two Balloon Glows will be held on
Saturday January 17th and Sunday January 18th. Each
day the infield of the track at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway will be filled with hot air balloons.
Festivities begin at 2:00 PM with tether rides, music,
remote control balloons, food and vendor village.

The first balloons to inflate will be the Special Shape
Balloons followed by the sport balloons. From 5:00
PM to 6:00 PM all balloons will be tethered as they
light their burners to create an awe-inspiring light
show. Guests are invited on to the field where they
can walk among these illuminated giants.

Admission is free to all events with a donation to the
families of our Service Men and Women from Nellis
Air Force Base. /font> /font>
