Frequently asked questions

How do I sign my child up for camp?
Please print the above "Horse Camp Registration Form". Please fill out the form and bring
it to the ranch along with a $50 deposit required to hold a spot for your child. The
balance is to be paid prior to the camp beginning. All check and money order payments
must be made at least 10 days prior to the first day of camp. All cash and credit card
payments must be made within 3 days of the first day of camp. All payments must be
made out to Double A Ranch. Please call 904-879-7058 if you wish to sign your child up
for camp to schedule an appointment to come out and complete your paperwork.

What does my child need to bring and wear to camp?
Your child will need to bring a riding helmet if they have one. Children will need to wear
old clothes because they will get dirty. Please do not bring your child in any clothes that
you do not want to get dirty. Your child should wear a t-shirt, jeans or riding pants, and
riding boots. Cowboy boots are okay but riding boots are preferred. Girls need to have a
hair band to pull back their hair if it is long.

Will my child get a camp t-shirt?
Yes. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt to wear for the horse show. Please let us
know you child's t-shirt size in adult sizes.

Do you provide lunch?
No. Campers will need to bring their own lunch daily except for Friday. Friday is Pizza
Day! If your child is allergic to anything on pizzas, please have them bring their own
lunch on Friday as well.

Do we have snacks?
We do have vending machines for drinks and snacks for purchase.

Can parents watch the campers ride?
Yes, We do ask that parents no interfere with the camp though. We will have a horse show
on Friday for all parents, grandparents, and friends to watch and cheer on their camper.

What time do I drop off my child?
Children may be dropped off between 8:30-9am. Any child dropped off prior to 8:30
will be charged $10 per child for morning extended care.

What is the latest time I can pick up my child?
You will need to pick your child no later than 5:15pm. After 5:15pm you will be charged
$10 per 15 minutes for extended care. There will be no exceptions.

Do we have sibling discounts?
Yes, we give a 10% sibling discount.
