Training Fees:
Full Training Board:
$800.00/month
(Multiple horse discount of 2 or more $100 per horse discount, off the second or more horse) Boarding includes stall
with lights, feeding, turnout, blanketing, grooming, clipping, and a minimum of 4 to 5 rides per week.
Lessons twice a week included.

We highly recommend all training horses be supplemented with Dac Oil and Hyaluronex Acid.

30 minute Round Pen Exercising $15
1 hour Exercise Under Saddle $30

Alicia Vickers has trained and shown horses professionally since 2001. We are
pleased to announce her as our new advanced riding and training instructor here
at Double A Ranch. Alicia has a patient training approach and believes in bring
out the students and riders naturally ability. She strives to promote longevity in a
horses show carrier. This method also follows into her beliefs as an instructor.
She believes that each rider has a discipline that is most suited for that individual.
As she is training horse and rider it is her goal to create a “Team” mentality to
show of that horse and rider at the best of his or her ability.

Her career as a horsewoman includes experience competing and training in
rodeo, equitation, halter, Western Pleasure, hunt seat, saddle seat, dressage,
speed events, and carriage driving , plus work as a trail guide, breeder, and  farm
manager. Alicia also coaches Non Pro, Amateur and Youth riders. Your personal
goals become her goals as she works one on one with each client to build a team
between them and their horse. Alicia is available to help prospective horse
owners find the perfect show partner that is capable of achieving his or her goals.
Shayla Wilson
All of Shayla’s experience has brought forth a fresh, yet classical
and progressive approach to her teaching style. She focuses on
improving what she calls the “Whole Horse/Rider System” that
develops not only the physical and technical facility of horse and
rider, but also their communicative, mental, and emotional aspects
as well. She emphasizes the importance of balance, theoretical
knowledge, and the basics as she believes a solid foundation is the
key to upper level success. Shayla is a talented trainer and intuitive
horsewoman. She can quickly access and create a program specific
to a horse’s and rider's individual needs to help them reach their
goals.
